ATTENDANCE RECORDS FOR LAST MONTH
Clients that have not already done so, are requested to complete the attendance records for last month and communicate it to us. This is because we must enter them in the “Libro Unico" in any case before the 16th day of this month as well as the fact that they should be taken into consideration for the preparation of the next wage slips. The other necessary data (sick notes, expenses refunds, meal tickets, bonuses, etc.) can be sent after the 16th.
EMPLOYEE DISCIPLINARY MEASURES
The company must post the section of the National Collective Labour Agreement, which relates to disciplinary measures, in an accessible area in order to apply those penalties in case of breach of contract.
Case law has repeatedly confirmed that it is not possible to substitute this obligatory posting with other methods such as sending a written letter or an e-mail message to each worker.
Our office is on hand to send the section of the National Collective Labour Agreement that must be posted, to each company at its request, free of charge.
Reimbursement to staff for expenses they have sustained must be communicated to us so that it may be recorded in the single employment register if it is not demonstrated by invoices or other documents in the company’s name.
In this case it should be specified whether reimbursement has already been made or if it has to be added to the net salary figure.
NEW EMPLOYMENT RELATIONSHIPS
Any new employment relationships must be communicated by us via e-mail before the day preceding the first day of work.
For this reason, it is necessary that the data regarding new employees is communicated to us with a reasonable amount of notice before starting dates, preferably using the attached form.
TERMINATION OF EMPLOYMENT RELATIONSHIPS
Any termination of employment relationships must be communicated by us via e-mail before the fifth day following the day of termination.
If an employee resigns a copy of the resignation letter clearly indicating the worker’s decision in respect of the relevant notice period should be sent to us.
ACCIDENT POLICIES FOR NON WORK RELATED ACTIVITIES
If accident policies have been stipulated in relation to non work related activities, the policy premiums that are paid must be communicated to us specifying the sums to be attributed to individual workers, since they are subject to contributions and tax deductions.
In case of mixed policies that cover work and non work related risks, it is necessary to ask the relevant insurance companies to provide details of each risk’s premium.
In respect of cars given to employees for private as well as work related use, a value determined on the basis of A.C.I. (Automobile Club d’Italia – Italian Automobile Club) tariffs are subject to contributions and tax deductions.
In this regard it is necessary to communicate the type of fuel, make and model, as well as the engine displacement capacity of the relevant cars provided by the company for personal use for the first time or as replacement vehicles.
